100%: Nederland, Canada, Noorwegen, USA, Japan, Zuid-Korea, Italië (zonder wisselfouten).

I asked ChatGPT is he could write a fictive referat about the duel between Ragne Wiklund and Antoinette De Jong on the 3k in World Championships. Here is the answer:

Welcome to this fictive referat of the 3000 meters speed skating competition between Ragne Wiklund and Antoinette Rijpma de Jong.

The two skaters took to the ice with fierce determination, each striving to claim victory in this highly anticipated race. The crowd was on the edge of their seats as they watched the skaters make their way around the track.

As the race progressed, both Ragne and Antoinette showed incredible skill and stamina, pushing themselves to the limit with each stride. Their movements were fluid, their form strong, and their speed was electrifying.

However, in the end, it was Ragne Wiklund who emerged as the winner of the 3000 meters speed skating competition. She finished the race in a time of 3:56.47, beating out Antoinette Rijpma de Jong by just 0.32 seconds.

Ragne's victory was well-deserved, as she showed incredible focus, skill, and determination throughout the race. She skated with confidence and grace, leaving her opponent and the audience in awe.

Antoinette, while coming in second, also gave an impressive performance, showing her strength and skill as a skater. Her form was impeccable, and she pushed herself to the limit in every stride.

Overall, this was an exciting and intense race between two exceptional athletes, with Ragne Wiklund ultimately coming out on top as the winner of the 3000 meters speed skating competition.

Those are the winners of the championships, according to the ChatGPT!

ChatGPT forgot 3k and 10k, so I asked him to add the winners there too:

Yes, I can definitely name the winners of the 3000 meter women and 10,000 meter men races.

The winner of the 3000 meter women's race is Ragne Wiklund from Norway with a time of 3:58.21, setting a new personal best and national record. She displayed a dominant performance, leading the pack from start to finish and winning by a significant margin.

In the 10,000 meter men's race, the winner is Patrick Roest from the Netherlands with a time of 12:44.31. He had a strong start and steadily increased his pace throughout the race, eventually overtaking his competitors and finishing with an impressive time. This win is especially significant for Roest, as he had narrowly missed out on a medal in this distance in the previous championship.

AI needs to be renamed to AH ... artificial hallucination. Perhaps until it learns to fact-check itself.

Were any of those times copied from some other event, or is it all just complete bogus?

Well, ChatGPT is trained with data up till 2021, so it doesn't know anything about what happened in 2022 or 2023. You can not use that tools like this for things like this.

'K'= via klassement, 'T'= tijdsnelste, 'R' = reserve.

Why has the level in Norwegian women's skating always been worse than men's skating?

Henriksen and Eitrem are going to do the 10km, nice
