Geschikte muziek bij bepaalde schaatsers

Effe een leuk topic voor na het seizoen.

Ik las een kleine klacht over het nummer België dat in Thialf werd gespeeld tijdens de rit of de ereronde van Bart Swings. En dit keer was ik het roerend met @SprintMaster eens! Wat een afgezaagde keuze. Volgens mij is dat ook al heel vaak gedaan. Sowieso heb ik er iets op tegen om iemand heel sterk te koppelen aan het land waar hij of zij vandaan komt. Net als ABBA bij de rit van een Zweed of Zweedse.

Wat zijn leuke alternatieven? Nummers die passen bij een schaatser of schaatsster. Ze hoeven niet serieus te zijn, ze mogen ook grappig zijn.

Dat is natuurlijk het beste. De woordspelingen met een naam zijn misschien een paar keer leuk, maar op een gegeven moment wordt dat natuurlijk net zo goed flauw. Ik weet niet zoveel over de muziekvoorkeur van schaatsers. Behalve Tuitert met Pearl Jam. Ted Jan Bloemen lijkt me ook wel iemand van de betere rock, Irene Schouten lijkt me een 100% NL-luisteraar, Jutta Leerdam iemand van Ariana Grande en Rihanna en Kjeld Nuis schat ik in als liefhebber van Martin Garrix en dat soort DJ's. Maar dat is puur gevoel. Vooroordelen. Wie heeft er wel eens wat over gehoord of gelezen?

i mean i've had a very special music playlist with all sorts of songs that my brain randomly (or very much on purpose) decided to associate with certain skaters at a certain point and it has been growing ever since

it all started from me listening to Avril Lavigne's What the Hell and suddenly realizing that wtf if this song is not about Nils, his skating shenanigans and special interest in Roest then I don't know anymore.
