Both Nao and Erin had the exact same lap time, the opening made the difference -- which is incredible how Erin manages to maintain speed after such an explosive opening and still make it to the finish with the lap time as Nao after her strong, but not as fast, opening

Erin: 10.45 - 27.16
Nao: 10.54 - 27.16
 
anyway back to losing breath over the Koreans and the Japanese

honestly I love skating exactly for these reasons -- so much diversity in the nations and new discoveries/prospective talents that may come at any moment, nothing is sent in stone anymore and it is just amazing

on a side note, I think Cha just secretly wanted to go short track for a moment and couldn't help himself. Twice :D

En dan te bedenken dat de Nederlanders die wél inline skaten, de Muldertjes, ook geen sterren waren in het lopen van de bocht.
