Thus, it is preliminary by the members of seven people: Galina Likhacheva, Yekaterina [Lobysheva], Yekaterina [Malysheva], Yekaterina [Shikhova], Svetlana [Vysokova], Alla[shabanova] and Yekaterina Abramova.Naturally, as soon as we will be determined with the senior trainer, it will obtain the right to introduce changes and to independently select the sportswomen, in whom sees the future. It is another matter that, I will repeat, there is no selection here practically. Before all without the exception girls stands one the sole purpose - to fight for the medals in the team persuit.Other tasks the women's team, at least, to the Olympic games -2010 in Vancouver, does not have and be it cannot! There is no, of course, sportswoman they will appear, also, in the individual forms of sports-meet, but to actually fight for the honor of flag, to pretend on the medal they are now capable only in the team persuit. Nikolai [Gudin] also stated that the conflict between Lobysheva and Abramova, because of which Abramova it was disqualified for one year, must not affect the work of team persuit. “All our sportswomen, in the first place, professionals. It is interesting, and in the football players of Russian team they did ask, who must train them - or no? Why then our sportswomen must dictate their conditions?! As soon as trainer will appear in command, between each sportswoman and federation the agreement, which will clearly determine rights and responsibilities of sides, will be signed. We are obligated to provide conditions for the work, the sportswoman - qualitatively to be trained and to appear. Then such situations, as with the nonappearance to the start of Abramova, be excluded”, explained Nikolai [Gudin].

Today's, on November, 25th, the decision of executive committee of the Union of skaters of Russia (СКР) about preschedule – since January, 1st, 2009 - removal of year disqualification from prize-winner Olimpiady-2006 Yekaterina Abramova, has been caused by repentance of the sportswoman and that Abramova is necessary for the Russian national team for achievement more good results. On it to Agency of the sports information «Ves sports» was informed by president СКР Vladimir Komarov. The question on preschedule removal of disqualification from the deserved master of sports, the prize-winner of Olympic games of Yekaterina Abramova was discussed today on executive committee in last item on the agenda – "miscellaneous", - Vladimir Komarov has told. – in СКР petitions for removal of disqualification from federation of skating sports of St.-Petersburg and from city sport committee, and also the application from Yekaterina Abramova have arrived. As a result, the executive committee has made decision to satisfy all received petitions and ahead of schedule to remove disqualification from the sportswoman. Katya recognised that she was not right. The insult on the trainer, other sportsmen – all it not an occasion to refuse performance of the professional duties. But now Abramova continues trainings and, apparently, has realised the offence. In such situation we have made decision ahead of schedule to remove with it disqualification and still we count on this sportswoman – including, in team persuit
In the near future in Russia the female national team on skating sports which has stopped existence after resignation of senior trainer Dmitry Tyklina following the results of the previous season will be generated. The head coach of a Russian national team has informed on it on skating sports to agency of the sports information «Ves sports» Nikolay Gudin. To generate a women's team we have accepted the decision on today's, on November, 25th, session of executive committee of the Union of skaters of Russia, - has told Nikolay Gudin. – Till December, 1st we will hold meeting with trainers and sportswomen who can potentially enter into a team. There are concrete nominees and on a post of the senior trainer, but concrete names I not to name ready yet. I can tell only that in the list of candidates there are also foreign experts. In the championship of Russia in Kolomna situated near Moscow on December, 18-21th to us there will arrive some Dutches and will hold a small seminar. Will take a detached view and will tell the vision of problems of the Russian Speedskating, I hope, will advise that it is possible to make. But the way from conversations to the concrete arrangement very much is not close. Concrete terms when the new team will have a trainer, I cannot name.
Ik begrijp dat Abramova weer terug mag komen omdat ze nodig is voor de TP? Denk dat dat een goede beslissing is, alhoewel ik niet denk dat een team zonder haar veel slechter zou zijn dan een team met haar. Abramova is toch meer van de kortere afstanden toch?
team is zeker slechter zonder haar..dat zie je wel aan de resultaten..de dames werkten altijd heel goed met elkaar. mooi in elkaars slag... ze is geen typische sprinter..malysheva zat de laatste keer in de TP maar das een echte sprinter. en daarvoor zat shabanova erbij..maar dat was zeker nix.
