I am skating a lot on ice during the winter, and now I want to buy some inline speedskates for practicing during the summer. My ice skates are Viking Nagano Allround clapskates. I wonder if I can place inlineframes under my Viking Allroundshoes, and will these shoes be good for inline-skating? Or should I buy another type of shoes, maybe a bit higher and stiffer for the inline skates? Can I put another brand of inlineframes under my Viking shoes (f.ex a Raps or Mogema frame?) Jim.
Hi Jim, I would NOT advise the Viking allround shoe for inline-skating; they don't give enough support. You better look for special inline-skate shoes, like the Viking-skeeler shoe, or Mogema-shoes. Good luck, Fred
Hi Jim, A lot of shoes are compatible with inline frames, but not all of them. I wouldn't advise an ice skate shoe for inline skating eather. Most inline shoes are carbon based and give far more support.
